Bucky Dent Park

Bucky Dent Water Park is located in Hialeah, a typically Cuban district of Greater Miami. It is part of the 25-acre Bucky Dent Park, which is named for former Major League Baseball player and manager Russell Earl "Bucky" Dent.

Water Park Attractions

This charming water park offers a wide range of activities for people of all ages and interests. If you're coming with family, take them down the twin 30-foot-high, 150-foot-long water slides. Do you want to go swimming? Take a dip in the six-lane zero-entry activity pool or take your small children to the adjoining water splash pool. (It barely goes down nine inches!) There are lots of lounging spaces and a concession stand where beverages and snacks may be purchased when it's time to unwind.

Bucky Dent Water Park also offers a variety of activities, including private swim lessons, swim team practices, and children's birthday parties, as well as public swimming hours and water aerobics courses. Certain spaces are available for hire and must be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Bucky Dent Park is home to the only indoor basketball gymnasium in the city. College basketball and volleyball games are periodically held at the gymnasium.
• Bucky Dent Park held a Presidential Town Hall Meeting in 2018, during which President Trump visited Hialeah to discuss the significance of local government and to respond to questions from local business owners and citizens.
